Forklift Trucks: The duration of the training is determined by the ability of the trainee to achieve a test standard. A maximum ratio of 3 trainees to 1 instructor is the legal requirement.
Basic Training: Someone with no previous operating experience – 5 days.
Basic Training: Someone with experience but no formal training – 3-4 days.
Refresher/Conversion Course: Conversion from one type of forklift to another is usually a one day course, for up to three people. All truck types catered for.
Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWP): This is a one day course for up to four people.
Safety Harness Awareness: This is a half day course for up to four people.
Mobile Cranes & Slinger/Banksman: This is a five day course for up to three people.
Overhead Crane & Basic Slinging & Lifting: This is a one day course, for up to four people.
Slinger/Banksman: This is a one/two day course depending on experience, for up to three people.
Boat Hoist/Lifter: This is a one day course, for up to four people.
Hydraulic Lorry Loader: The HIAB course lasts for one day, for up to three people.
Tow Tractor & Trailer: This is a one day course, for up to three people.
Digger & Dumper: This is a one day course, for up to three people.
Manual Handling: This is a half day course for up to ten people.
Basic Chainsaw Safety Awareness: This is a one day course, for up to six people.
Abrasive Wheel Safety Awareness: This is a half day course for up to six people.
First Aid, First Aid at work (FAW): standard & refresher courses.

PASMA Courses: This is a one day course.

Working At Heights Ladders/Steps/Stools: Each course is half a day for up to six people.
